St. Ignatius Day is a special and cherished occasion at St. Ignatius Preparatory and Primary School, dedicated to celebrating our patron saint, Ignatius of Loyola, and the founder of the Society of Jesus. The day offers the entire school community an opportunity to reflect on the life, spirituality, and enduring legacy of St. Ignatius, whose vision continues to shape Jesuit education around the world.

The celebration typically begins with a Holy Mass, where students, staff, and parents gather in prayer and thanksgiving. Special reflections highlight the values that St. Ignatius promoted—faith, service, excellence, generosity, and finding God in all things. Through songs, readings, and symbolic presentations, pupils are reminded of their call to become “men and women for others.”

The day also features cultural performances, student presentations, and community activities that strengthen unity and school spirit. More than a celebration, St. Ignatius Day is a moment of renewal—encouraging every member of the school to live out Jesuit values in daily life, with compassion, courage, and commitment to justice and service.
